In our daily lives a lot of things that are happening around us, are not mere coincidences. Although some of them are influenced by the decisions that we make, oftentimes, we have a hunch about something which was actually bound to happen. We usually refer to this as a gut feeling. But formally, this is known as the psychic ability of intuition. If you have a feeling of something that is going to happen and it actually did happen you are exhibiting signs of a psychic ability.

To define intuition, it is a type of psychic ability which gives you the knowledge of things which are going to happen. It is a way of seeing into the future or knowing something, although this may not be supported by logical reason or rational explanation. Throughout history, people have been trying to decode the ways of the intuitive psychic ability. The nature of this psychic ability is rather complex and peculiar, making it one of the hottest issues in the science of psychology or philosophy.

Intuition as they say, is part of our natural being, because almost everyone has experienced these types of coincidences more than once in their lives. The reality is, each and everyone of us has some degree of a psychic ability within. But not everyone has an equal share of this gift, since our psychic abilities vary at different degrees. This is the reason why to some extent, others who have the stronger gift of intuition usually find their gut feeling right more often when compared to others. You noticed however, that your friend is worriedly looking for something he lost and to your surprise, you pointed the exact location where the item was. When he checked the location of your suggestion, and to his great surprise, it was indeed there! This scenario above, is an example of intuition at work. It is an illustration of a psychic ability, one that is strong and accurate.

Other examples of the intuitive psychic ability is as simple as knowing who is on the other line of the phone before answering it, or knowing what gender the baby in the womb has, or getting you heart pumping so fast due to the things you know will happen.

There are some people who see intuition as nothing more but just a calculated guess. But then, we all know that even science has room for error; unlike intuition in where you always get it right.

But then, there will always be those people who will say that intuition is not a psychic ability at all; that it is nothing but coincidence. However, it can\’t be called a coincidence if your gut feeling seems to be always right.

However, because some people see intuition as nothing more but just coincidence, they never pay much attention to develop the said gift. Now that you are given a better understanding of what intuition really is, you will see that all roads leads to developing your intuition — your psychic ability.
