Customer Service. Great customer service is always the best! You could give the most expensive spa treatment, but when the client isn’t contented with her spa experience, it’s tantamount to nothing. “In fact, 87 percent of ISPA member spas are employing customer feedback mechanisms to guarantee they’re exceeding consumers’ desires…” Spas must adopt improved means then to give the clients a more gratifying spa experience.

Spa Sampling Menus. This is a great means to allow spa clients get a form of “preview” of the various treatments thatthey would like to try on.

Spa Partnerships. This lets spas to broaden their reach by forging partnerships with local businesses that may also gain from them. Through this, spas are able to advance their business and increase the number of clients by taking the spa closer to the clients. Several schemes can be carried out like discounted prices with partner hotels or resorts. And who doesn’t love a bargain?

Social Media. From tweeting to blogging, and everything in between, it’s forecasted that in 2010 social media will remain influential in assisting spa-goers make decision from what to where of spa. Needless to say, spas should make the most out of social media to gather clients.

Beauty Rest. Not yet very popular, but an enticing alternative like this can certainly increase the total of spa visits. This simply means making that extra time at the spa to get some forty winks while enjoying a relaxing massage. Or rather more appealing is to just reserve a room in a spa heavy with calming aroma to get more sleep.
