Try on all of the outfits before making a purchase, and if you can, bring along a friend. Having a second opinion you can trust will help you make the right choices.

Once your arms are weighed down with packages, head to the stylist. If you are feeling lucky, and you can trust your stylist let them decide what to do Tell them you want a drastic change and then relax and enjoy. If you are not that brave, describe a basic style, like how short you are willing to go. If you still want to give them some input, alter the color and let them decide on the shade.

Finally, head to the beauty bar. Often, the salespeople will complete a makeover for free, as long as you are prepared to purchase some of the products they use. Listen to their tips and tricks so you can use them at home. When the makeover finishes, decide which pieces suit you best and make the purchase. After a long shopping experience, you have done it. You have given yourself a makeover.
