How Clothing Reflect The Wearer’s Personality
Clothes and the fashion industry would not thrive so much if clothes did not matter at all. In the world clothes are supposed to cover the body well and protect it from harsh elements. Now clothes have taken another form of importance in the society, because suddenly the society will start looking at what you wear and start forming an opinion about you in many ways. Clothes say much more than what words can say. Have a look at some things that clothes can stand for.
Initially clothes were made to protect the human body from the harshness of the weather patterns as well as the climatic conditions. Now clothes do much more than just to protect the body, there are many dynamics involved, social, economic, religious, and so forth.
It is a modern world where class differences are not very strong in the society but clothes are still able to show a person’s social status. These days there are no official laws to designate the different social classes and what they are supposed to wear.
So these days the class or social barrier is still discreetly there because the prices of clothes make them prohibitive for them to be affordable to everyone across board.
They also say something about your profession or career. What you do in life, where you are and your level in the society. For example the health professionals like to wear certain type of clothes.
In the case of marital status, some clothes are seen as not suitable for married women. Another type of fashion is also seen as only suitable for single people.
India makes it very clear what type of clothes and accessories are suitable for women who are married. They wear certain accessories on their hair to show that they are married.
Unmarried women also like to put on certain fashionable clothes in order to show off their beauty and figure to the possible future partners. It is just natural for a single woman to want to attract attention by wearing showy clothes.
