Myths About Losing Arm Fat
There are so many outdated myths floating around the internet, that learning how to lose arm fat the right way can be harder than finding a needle in a haystack. And most women do not know how to find that needle. But it\’s the marketers fault, not theirs.
Type the term \”flabby arms\” into any search engine and you\’ll be instantly bombarded with too many gimmicks to count. It\’s no wonder that most women have no idea on who to trust. In fact, one site claims that the key to losing arm fat is through underground hypnosis.
If you buy into one of these schemes your bank account will be smaller and your arms will be bigger. Not to mention the devastating blow your motivation will take. Thus, it\’s important to learn how to find the truthful experts.
Now there are some good sources of information out there. The key is to rapidly identify whether or not what you\’re reading is outdated and/or outrageous. Here are some common myths to look out for that indicate out of date information:
1. Weight lifting will make your arms get huge. Only if you are eating big Mac\’s every day! You see, when you weight lift (and build muscle) while simultaneously losing fat your arms get smaller. Fat cells occupy much more space than muscle cells. Besides, you need a bare minimum amount of muscle on your arms or else you will never get the sexy and toned look.
2. Cardio burns jiggly arm flab. The truth is that cardio burns compact arm muscle. When you do long bouts of cardio your body releases a hormone called cortisol which eats muscle and stores fat in your abdomen! Ditch the treadmill and pick up the weights. Ditch the myths and learn how to lose arm fat the right way.
3. You should eliminate dietary fat since it\’s high calorie. If you go low fat, your body will stop producing fat-burning hormones. It will also be very painful because of the gargantuan sugar spikes that accompany low fat eating.
4. Genetics are to blame. Genetics play a minor role on how your arms look. But they do not dictate what your arms can look like. A targeted arm program and some nutritional trickery can change your arms at the structural level. So please do not use genetics as an excuse.
If your source of information for learning how to lose arm fat has any of the above myths, it\’s time to switch sources. Don\’t let the marketers empty your purse while your arms stay the same!
And don\’t forget that acting on information is much more important than digesting information. The more you act, the faster you will learn what works for you.
